Around here, Wells Fargo offers financing through a few local car repair chains. Its a high rate though, like 17-25%.
If I understand it, it is actually a secured personal loan with your car as collateral.
Nationwide does offer 0% APR for 12 months on any car repairs, at any time (not just when you first get the card).
From their website:
APR for Automotive Repairs
A 0% fixed APR for the first 12 billing cycles from the date of each automotive repair purchase. After that, Prime Rate* plus 3.99% for Preferred Pricing, Prime Rate* plus 7.99% for Plus Pricing, or Prime Rate* plus 15.99% for Standard Pricing, based upon your creditworthiness.
Your APR will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate*.
