Just got my discover card and it expires next Oct only a 1 year exp?

In my wallet: AMEX Gold; Freedom $1.5k; CSP $5k; Chase United $5k; Discover $2k

I thought cards were good for at least 2...3 of my cards have 2014 exp dates while the others have 2015

My husband's expires in October  2016...    he was added as an AU back in March...  So um his card has a 4.5 yr exp

That's very odd.  I opened Discover in August and it expires in 2017.

Usually Discover cards have a long life. 5 years max for each card.

That's weird! I got mine a couple of weeks ago and it doesn't expire until 2017!
