For those who have the card, how long did it take for the bonus to be applied to your account? I noticed in their literature 6 to 8 weeks, but I know some banks post sooner but say that to cover themselves in case of a delay.
I met the $500 spend requirements in my 3rd billing cycle and that was the same statement the bonus 10k points posted
Mine posted 15 days after meeting required spend.

Does anyone know how to access your points? I was approved but don't have an aarp # on my Chase card. Not sure how they access my point balance
Your points are in your Chase account linked right to the credit card profile. You can have the credit card without being part of AARP.

You get the 10,000 reward points instantly as soon as you meet the spend. I got them in my first statement, the same statement where I met the spend. But it's not automatically applied, you get 10,000 points to redeem, so as soon as you see them in your account you redeem them.
I just got a Chase Travel Rewards card with a 20,000 point sign up bonus for $1000 spend within the first 90 days, met the spend in 3 weeks and the 20,000 bonus was applied on the first statement a week or so later (already used it on travel credit). My AARP card was the same thing - applied as soon as you meet the spend.
Thanks for all the replies. Yep, I thought they automatically applied the credit, but after SJ mentioned the above post, I checked and found that my points were just sitting there waiting for me to redeem. Should be credited within 2 to 3 days. Thanks again!
