If only there was a way to mske sure you get the card you applied for.
Agreed -- I'd rather just waste an HP and get declined over getting an HP, a crappy card I won't use and the hit to AAoA for a new account. It does seem like some have had success PC'ing later but I wouldn't want to gamble on that.

Callandra - why not CLI your Victorias card to $3500.....
Would love to apply for this card, but everytime I go onto their site to see if I'm preapproved it ushers me to a prepaid card, not even the rewards card. I thought a 710 tu score would at least get me that.
My wife who has a much better score than me gets the same treatment.

Their pre-app page is pretty bad. Don't judge your profile by US Bank pre-app.
A close approximation will be the Chase Sapphire Preferred. Go over to Chase's site and see if either of you can get a CSP pre-app (assuming that you don't have it already). If you're getting one, (a) you have solid chances of getting the CSP and (b) you have pretty good chances of getting the Cash+.
Make sure all 3 CRs are in right shape

(Probably going to close the card though...)

Nah, maybe you'll get declined for Credit One too. Take it as a compliment
