Airplane fuel station - around the time when Amex was acting weird - or should I say more weird than usual.

 

All previous gas purchases would have been for car or motorcycle and under $100 so it was way out of normal pattern. Also, one charge of about half the limit on the card so I wondered about how that might look.

 

I do always PIF my Amex, even my new BCE that has 0% for first 6 months. It is killing me to PIF when I could use that money to pay off another card where I'm still carrying a balance.
