Exactly. No matter what you whip out it all serves the same purpose - to pay for the date. If the date is not happy with what you whip out... oh okay did we really have to use the words "whip out" :smileytongue: :smileyvery-happy:

Re: 1st date... Whip out the Discover?

I was gonna say, it shouldn't matter what you whip out...but as long as we're still talking credit cards I'm safe.

use whatever form of payment you feel works best for you.  if your date questions it negatively?  offer to let THEM pay...

Re: 1st date... Whip out the Discover?

That's funny to worry about something like that. As a female, I would always kinda look away when guys would pay....I didn't wanna get caught looking....lol I didn't care how they paid....but now I would be like "oooo, let me see that, what is your credit looking like to get a card like that?" I think I may come here too much...lol

Whip out Amex. Discover always struck me as an older person's card, albeit with great credit and fiscal responsibility

Fico 08 scores (8/27/14) EX: 772 TU: 767 EQ: 778 (Utilization at 8% right now).

Cash doesn't get me rewards unless I'm using it to pay the CC bill. No good!!!!
