Use cash.  CASH is King.

Cash doesn't get me rewards unless I'm using it to pay the CC bill. No good!!!!

Oh alright.  Whatever floats your boat.

I just meant that Cash sends a STRONGER singal of financial stability....Which is what I gather from the post you are trying to achieve/protray to your date....than buying dinner on Credit.

Re: 1st date... Whip out the Discover?

As a single female, when I am on a date early into a potential relationship and the man pays, I look away because it is not my business what kind of credit cards he has.  If the relationship goes anywhere, then at some point money and credit has to be talked about, but definitely not on a first date.  If she doesn't like the credit card you use, she can pay for the dinner herself and she is not worth getting to know any better.

Re: 1st date... Whip out the Discover?

Cash is boring, and does not pay cash back. Who wants to spend an extra few minutes counting dollars or coins or even carrying any cash around? If you lose stuff like me, then credit is best. Eye catching cards will impress a date, despite the superficiality of that concept. Actually, the last date I was on...we whipped out the same card, except theirs was the BCP while mine is the BCE. Lol but I hate AFs. Hahaha. Must be a good indicator if you have the same credit :-P

LOL. True. That reminds of a time when I was in a supermarket. A elderly lady was in front of me, and she bought a couple of items. She paid them using pennies, counting each one at the registry. LOL! But hey....she reminded me of my grandmother so I just paid for her items using dollar bills...lol
