The gas station at the corner near my house has been using the chip card reader since 2013 but I avoid using my chip cards there because their chip reader is very tight and it always scratches my cards... very frustrating. Plus its ten times slower than the ole swipe process. Not looking forward to the switch

I'm flattered, really. But I don't think I'm hot. Besides, with you taking longer at checkout, I was able to stare at your booty longer. = P

Well, at least you're not the person who goes to express checkout with like 50 items in your cart, only to have your card decline, call your CCC while everyone behind you is angry and hate the world. Smiley Very Happy

I used EMV cards many times. I didn't have any problem. It might be slower than swiping the card. Not too many places got those EMV terminals. Walmart and Sams Club have it.

I've also never had to sign at walmart since they started chip transactions.
