Just a guess here, but I think that upgrade matrix (cards available to upgrade, what features you want, etc) they might go ahaed and do the hard pull. I was always under the impression it was soft if you had been a member.

This doesn't add up to what I've read on here. I thought if you're a card member already, it's a SP on denied and a HP on approval.
I am planing to app in mid/end of 2013. I would like to know more.
Exactly, that's why I posted this...it's contrary to what is being discussed on this site...

So how did you app? Logging in and apply? or did it as a new member?
