Hey Guys, I used to have 2 capital one credit cards, opened in 2005 and 2006 respectively. Last week , I had the agent combine both cards and so therefore ended up cancelling the card I opened in 2005 and keeping the No Hassle Miles 2006 card. They have combined my CL to 1000....By closing one card will it affect my credit score? I only combined 2 cards into one... what kind of effect will it have on my credit report? I have 235 current balance.
