I don't blame anybody for my poor decisions. None of the credit card companies put a gun to my head and said you need to spend money that you don't have or live way beyond your means so I take full responsibility for my actions

At least he is being responsible and has a plan to pay it off - many in his situation would undoubtedly file BR.

Well here we are near the end of 2012. All of the payments that are due in December have already been made. I've had some setbacks but keep on trucking.... My roommate lost his job and decided to move out, I decided I didnt want a new roommate so I am going to just keep paying the rent by myself until the end of the lease (Aug 2013)

Wow it's been a long journey! Good luck on your adventure. I'm sure you'll get there. Just remember to always make payments on time, then apply the rest of the available money towards the card with the highest interest rate.

Thanks. I am trying! I am really hopping that by the end of 2013 it will all be gone. It's amazing how hard it can be to get out of debt.
