Great thread! I plan to continue gardening throughout this year, as well as embracing a more PIF mentality, thereby hopefully helping to reduce my debt. I also plan on working as much overtime as possible to help pay off my current debt.

I also plan on eating more healthy & exercising a lot more! 😃

I tried to go without my coffee.....failed miserably day 1 ....But at least i havent apped or solicited credit for 2 days so far..

My resolution is simply no inquiries for the year. Keep my cards paid down and my auto loan current. Get soft pull increases where possible.

2) continue PIF on all others

Well i've already started on my resolutions. I'd like 2018 to be a big year of setting and reaching goals, not just finanical but personal growth as well. I think its healthy to have goals. Here are my goals :

1. Keep driving down UTL, started 2017 @ 75% and I am at 42% currently hoping to reach 10%

2. Go on a vacation with my points. Gotta be worth it at least once right?

3.  Reach sub 700's at min for all 3 reports. Very close to it

4. Get a d@mn AMEX for crying out loud

5. Reach 40k in combined CL

6. Get a HELOC ( pool + home mods )

7. Get a Travel Trailer

8. Get a Truck loan

9. Drink more expensive whiskey

10. Buy my wife a new Black Lab

Like I said I'm very close to all of these goals for 2018 so I'm excited to actuall reach and maintain them. And the last one is just because I miss having a lab around the house, I do currently have a dog but he's a bully-dog completely different thing.

Been going to optimist counseling but I don't think it's working. Maybe I'll just stay in my self-imposed garden for the time being but it may not work out. I just have 3 cards and 2 of those are in the SD. Maybe I need a couple more cards. Hard to tell but at least I have 2018 to look forward to. Thanks AJC!
