2nd Amex card question?

Am I correct in the fact that a current Amex member when applying for a new card, they use the last soft they did on you.  I checked and the last time they softed me was 3/20.  Is that the report they would use or would they soft again during application?

Re: 2nd Amex card question?

Thanks. I know about the soft pull decline, hard pull approved, but thought I've read instances where they just used the last soft they had on you. Not a current or new soft.

still undecisive if to pull the trigger or not. Just afraid that this will hurt my chances on getting approved for the 3x CLI on my BCP the 30th of May. Will most likely wait till after that has passed before i pull the trigger.

Did that change recently?  Amex is notorious for using the last SP they have on record for their members.

@Revelate. That's was my understanding too. But wasn't 100% sure.

My understanding was that they used the last SP, if it was within a certain time period (30 days maybe?). In the OP's case, it has been 37(ish) days, so that's why it would be a new SP (if 30 days is true).
