I just shopped through the chase rewards plus site today.  Hopefully, I'll get the $5.

The store I used (petfooddirect.com) earns 4% back, so the 4% plus $5 would be pretty cool.

Do you earn the % back in cash? I have the freedom and the toys r us chase. it looks as if I can only use the freedom. Also a new window pops up how is that different then just going on the actual website? I guess you earn cash back?

I used my freedom plus card. I have it set up for cash, but can switch to travel miles if I wanted to.
