Re: 5 figure CLI Amex 61 days CLI?

I had requested a CLI at my 61 day mark of $22,500 from $7,500 initial CL equalling a total CLI request of $15,000. Amex countered with a total credit line of $19,200 equalling a total CLI $11,700 from my initial CL. No FR, just pure Amex bliss! Smiley Happy

In my wallet: Amex PRG & Zync, Amex BCE (19.2k), Chase Freedom (5k), PSECU Visa/PSL (20k)
Current Scores: Equifax: 738 (Fako) TransUnion: 721 (Fico) Experian: 717 (Fico)

Such a random limit, they must have some crazy internal risk systems. I like my limits staying rounded. I'd be on the phone trying to get them to give me an $800 CLI to get up to the $20k mark. 19.2 just way to random..haha

I presume income changes how much CLI they are prepared to give. Do you mind sharing what your stated income was?

I got a fairly generous CL on my BCP given that my income is not that high, and I'm a little worried about asking for a 61 day CLI because then my CL-to-income ratio would be pretty high and they might sniff out a FR lol.

PNC Points Visa $3.3k (5/09), Amex PRG NPSP (9/10), Amex BCP $7.6k (10/12) -> $19.7k (3x CLI), Amazon Chase Visa $3.1k (10/12), Citi Forward Student $4k (11/12), Chase Southwest RR Premier $8k siggy (3/13 - 50k sign up bonus)

Hmmm. My income isn't as much as that which makes me a little uneasy about asking for a CLI.
