Not that I know of. Citi is doing home improvment on upcoming quarter.
Penfed has a card that is 5% on gas all the time, no limits

I know...and they already accepted me as a member during the "Penfed craze" a couple of years ago. I just don't think my CRs are ready for a Penfed card between the inquiries, the "newer" credit (pyramiding anyone? haha) and my utilization for using 0% on a card. Plus I'm waiting to go for a travel card for better deals on airfare.

Time will get you in!
Luckily I fill up every day due to work, so curoff doesnt make much of a difference
@clocktick wrote:I'm talking specifically for the Discover More and Chase Freedom. Both of them end 3/31 for the 5% off of gas. We want to fill all of our cars before this. Does it matter the date you pump it or the date it actually posts on your account? If we pumped it on 3/31 and it didn't post until, say, 4/2, would it still count for the 5% off?
Thanks.
just remember its a maximum of 1500 in gas... fill up more than 2 cars and you are at the max benefit lol
I got my card in Feb Total to date $ 2343 in gas between my work trucks and personal cars Will be paid in full with my $1700.00 limit. This will be my 2nd statement.
The last time I got gas right before the cutoff date for Discover, they counted it as part of the 5% category month, since the initial authorization was before the cutoff date. Maybe other people have had a different experience. I got my 5% cashback, though.
Not saying they will not count it but the terms seem clear on this:
* Earn 5% Cashback Bonus on purchases made on gas (at stand alone gas stations), movies and museums from 1/1/12 (or the date on which you signed up, whichever is later) through 3/31/12, subject to a cap of $1,500 in purchases. Movie ticket and movie rental purchases are those made at merchants classified as movie theaters, video rental stores, and online movie ticket and movie rental services. These purchases must post to your account by 3/31/12. Purchases made at warehouse clubs, wholesale distributors or discount stores are not eligible. If a purchase is coded for a category other than those listed above, it will not qualify. Rewards are added to your Cashback Bonus account at the end of your billing period. See Cashback Bonus Program Terms and Conditions for further details.
