5 months credit history trying AMEX PRG?

What is the possibility of approval? Is it certain that I will be denied?

Currently I have BOA cash rewards (2500cl) for 5 months and citi forward (2000cl) for 2 month.

Thanks.

Current Cards: BOA Better Rewards (2.5k), Citi Forward (2k), AMEX Blue Cash Preferred (6k), AMEX SPG (7.5k), DISCOVER (1k), Chase Freedom (7k).

Its not a certain denial but it doesnt look good. I would wait until you have 6 months on both accounts then go for it.

doubtful but possibility if you get added as an ACM / AU for a Amex account. It seems to be a way to sneak in imo. I became an AU on my dad's Chase Sapphire and Delta Skymiles Amex and I was approved for my own two months later, kept getting denied before then. both accounts were new openned accounts.

Thanks for all the reply.

How about 1 year credit history before applying to PRG? or SPG?

Re: 5 months credit history trying AMEX PRG?

Thank you very much!

Actually I am not quite sure about the difficulty of applying to following credit cards: CSP, SPG and PRG.

I think one year would be enough for SPG and PRG, but CSP would have much higher standard (2 year, >5000 cl in one card)?

Am I right?

What is your income? If its high I would go for PRG...

SPG and CSP are both going to be harder to get... wait until you have 2 years of history

Re: 5 months credit history trying AMEX PRG?

Income is 55k. Would that be enough for PRG?

I think it's worth a shot. Got decent assets as well?
