Congrats.
I checked mine to see if anything had happened, but it's still at $2500. As things go for them, that's not bad. I'm not too surprised that I haven't seen an increase. I haven't used the card for anything other than a couple automated payments in over 6 months. And I don't know if they monitor the banking side of the relationship but I cancelled my checking account with them this week over the fact that they won't reinstate my miles on an account that was closed when I fell behind on payments. After I paid them back, I felt they should let me redeem the miles. I understand their position, but if that's the position they want to take, I'm not interested in giving them any more business. And that's why I'll likely never see another increase with them.
Congrats to you and anyone else who gets an increase.
Congratulations howhow!
Does your card have an AF?
thanks...I just want to restate that I use this card pretty heavily during my study in Europe, because this is the only card I use when I am abroad so I pretty much have to pay multiple bigger payments to avoid maxing out at the $750 limit....I think this is why I am granted for such a big CLI.
no AF =)
congrats on the big cli. yeah i've been stuck on $500 since i opened a little over a year ago. for the first 12 months, it was my grocery card and emergency gas card. and each month i made sure there was always $100 available credit (so if an emergency came up, i'd have a little wiggle room to use my cap 1 card). although i did not pay multiple times each month (i couldn't because being a government employee, i only get paid once a month), i did always pay 80% of my balance each month. figured if i showed them that i pay waaay more than the minimum each month....it'll make me a candidate for a random cli. but no luck. so now....i don't use it as much. i still use it for gas each month...but i make sure i don't charge more than $150 on it. it's just disappointing that even though i had a low cl on the card, i've spent several thousand using the card on the first year....but can't even be eligible for a small cli. oh well.
i think its a mistake you should either use it or call them to verify otherwise one day you want to use it and ur card get decline cuz they fixed the problem ... i am pretty sure its a glitch
WOW, Congrats! I just got my Cap 1 in the mail today. 500 CL but enrolled in the steps program. I hope to earn more credit down the road. Matching your CLI, that would be difficult!

nope not a glitich, just got a letter in the online document center, it's official. =)
My wife and I both have a lot of credit cards, pay them off each month.
Her Cap1 was initially higher limit than mine but we use mine more so they bumped me up to $4500 while hers is still at $1250 where she started.
It seems that Cap1 may up your limit if your using the card a lot and making payments on time or paying it off frequently.
