Did you mean:

6 month from the date of joining to request for the credit line increase.

6 month from the date of joining to request for the credit line increase.

So after much debate, I'm still stuck. I'm really wanting to request an increase to my Citi card online, but DO NOT want to be denied

because I did not wait long enough.

Chatted with online rep on Citi site to have them say:

"You will need to wait for a period of 6 month from the date of joining to request for the credit line increase."

When did I join, according to Citi? He said he couldn't tell me. All he could say was the above.

On activation of account, a letter came saying this, dated June 15th. I applied for Citi first or second week of June.

Your account must be opened for
at least six months before we can consider a higher credit line.

Can someone please help with this? I know I'm probably going mental over it, but it'd be nice to get a clear answer.

If your that concerned just wait for your 6th statement ...that way you know you're safe.
