What number did you call? Was it the regular customer service number or the recon number? They denied me because I applied for the CSP only about a week after getting approved for the United card. After speaking to the recon department I was approved. She did tell me about the 6-month "rule" but they can always reconsider.

The CSP is for $12,500???
I wonder if they would have been open to the idea of opening a Freedom and transferring some of the CL from the CSP into it.

I called 888.270.2127 for the app recon and then I called 888.245.0625 for the credit analyst about an hour later. I do have about $35,000 in new credit in the last 60 days so I guess I understand. I just want what I want. ![]()
