6th Statement Days Away...Merrick

Does anyone know if Merrick usually gives auto CLI's at the 6 month mark? When you call in to inquire they only say they don't take customer initiated CLI reviews and that it's reviewed regularly. Geesh...this sounds an awful lot like Cap 1!! I really should have researched this card more before apping for it. I don't have the Hooters card..just the straight Merrick. Please tell me this card grows with you??!!

I have heard that they are better with CLIs than most of the other starter cards such as Credit one.

My wife has one which lives in the back of her sockdrawer.

Thanks for the info. I've made small purchases and PIF for the last 6 months. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed. 6 months ago I thought I needed this card. Now I would never APP for this card. lol Alot can change in 6 months. Hoping it grows with me.

Hope you get one. I just closed an account with them last year after the 7th statement cut. I had no balance. They refused to give me an increase or waive the annual fee. I just closed it on the spot. Only card I have ever had for less than a year.

My 8th statement just cut and no CLI.  No love button on their site and reading that they don't accept card holder initiated CLIs, I guess I'll just have to wait and see if this card will grow someday.
