I had $500 charged on my card, I noticed it, called BofA. As I was on the phone with them the thieves tried getting another $500 and BofA issued me a new card etc. I don't get how that big of charges on your card went unoticed by your card issuer...very odd
Similar thing happen to me on my BJ's card, I went to some privately owned convenience store for very small purchase and couple of weeks later over $1500 on my account.
Got everything refunded thankfully. It is crazy that some merchants can't be trusted and they sell our CC info!
I'm glad that I don't use Debit Card anymore for purchase!

I don't get it. I was shut off with Chase at Target one day, in the next town over, for spending $350.
My concern is now with that balance reporting if not cleared before the next statement. There goes util on that card - 84%. What other bank is gonna get skidish? Barclay? BoA?
Guess this is a downfall for having a large line on a sync mastercard.
Yeah that sucks... luckily mine is only $4,000.
I got turned down in LA after being there for a week with Citi with my AA plat while i was spending to make the $3,000 in three months for 50,000 points. I think I spent around $2,000 in LA before they decided to decline me for a $30 dollar gas charge while i was filling up a rental to return the car.
