Don't know yet. Haven't gotten any alerts. really want to join NFCU but don't really know if I'm eligible. My father would have been but he's deceased now. I don't know if they extend membership that way.

Veteran or retired? There's a difference. They don't extend to just veterans. My father worked for DOD for 44 years, grandfather for 33 years. both are deceased. I'm just going to call and ask. My mother receives retirement checks from my dad from the army. I wonder if that matters.

Honorable discharge. I'm not a military guy nor is my family so apologies in advance because I'm ignorant as to the differences.
