Just checked the FICO score associated with my Blue Cash as provided on Amex website: 798. It also says my FICO score on August 26 was 797. I am fairly sure though that in August when I tried to get my slashed CL reinstated the FICO score on the denial letter was around 650.
Anyone have anecdotal explanation for this sudden jump?
Thanks!
WTH? I just signed out and signed back in -- now Amex says FICO is 658 and was 654 on August 12 (more likely) ... but confusing and raising my hopes needlessly, lol!
Did you have a batter come off?
mitchblue, I think was just a glitch. I don't know what a batter is, but I have no negatives on my reports at all for about 2 years.
It's a glitch. I had mine come up at 768 and i knew that wasn't right.
Logged out, then back in, and it was right where it's supposed to be... 691.

Oh man that must have been disappointing..
It would have been, had I not known it was completely wrong.
I'm going to be mortgage shopping next summer so I'm watching this stuff like a hawk right now.
