So went to Dodge dealership with 8.49% from USAA  and the dealership got me 4.19% on my 2012 Hyundai Elantra. Got home and decided to get some cards for me and the wife.

Me:

Walmart Discover $400

Best Buy Decline

Barcaly Arrival Declined

Chase Freedom Declined

Wife:

Walmart $1500

Rooms To Go $2000

Barclay LL Bean $4500

Chase Disney Declined

Best Buy Declined

Old Navy Visa $1000 (8/6/13)

Discover IT $1500 (8/6/13)

We only had $300 and $500 BofA secured credit cards for 5 months and a VS for 3 months. I had a car loan for 19 months reporting.

Back to the garden for both of us for minimum of 1 year.

Did you call the Barclays backdoor#? They are pretty good on recon. Yes, yes I know people will say they are sensitive to new accounts but I was approved after a recon, and had opened about 5 new accounts soon after and nothing happen. Just my two cents since you already took the HP for the app.

Wife just got Old Navy $1000.

I called barclay, no recon too many recent account/inquries. Walmart couldnt increase the $400 limit.
