Re: A Hidden BofA Benefit

Wow, I knew nothing about this, thanks! NYC museums charge a fortune for admission, and this will let me visit more often.

The question is... will the box office people know anything about it? I find that 9 times out of 10 when I hear about and try to take advantage of something like this, the frontline employees are completely unfamiliar with the promo/benefit, and it ends in disappointment,

Re: A Hidden BofA Benefit

It would save me a lot when I visit NYC. I've heard about this benefit before. I've heard of others using it. There is even an article about it on kliplinger. You have to have a picture ID and your card. You can use it on the first full weekend of the month. I think I could get it to work. Will let you all know once I try it.

In my experience, it has worked without issue.  But you definitely have to mention it.  They won't offer it just because you handed over your BoA card to pay.  If you're planning ahead to use it though, it couldn't hurt to bring a printout describing the program.

Re: A Hidden BofA Benefit

This is pretty cool. You can just make everyone an authorized user lol.  My GF is an authorized user on my 123 card but I guess we still have to pay for kids?.... Im cheap like that.
