I just got a personal message from Citi Cards CEO. It must be personal, because it said so!
I particularly liked:
The Citi ThankYou and Citi ThankYou Preferred Cards are the only cards that let you earn double ThankYou Points on purchases for both dining and entertainment at no annual fee.
The underlining of "only" is to make sure that you don't miss that out of the HUGE universe of credit cards that offer TYP, these two are the only ones that...... And even more specially, the Forward offers 5x and the new nerfed Premier offers 3x, so 2x is actually one of the worst!
I think Citi was IIB for me, so looks like I'll never ever ever get one of these "personal messages" from them. Oh well. I'll just cry about it to some other CCC.
So no-one feels left out....

Does anyone comment on the Citi blog? I checked a lot of entries and all have no comments but I see a comment box. No participation or does Citi simply reject all comments? lol

I commented on this one (whining about the Premier). So I'll see if it shows up.

Fees are something we all try to avoid and we are working to determine where they can be eliminated. You will no longer be charged an expedited payment fee if you need to make a last minute payment over the phone. We also removed the statement copy fee for past billing statement requests. |
In addition, we want you to have flexibility to pay your account. When you use our AutoPay option, you can arrange to pay your minimum amount due, full monthly balance or other amount that you choose. |
