A little advice for spree???

So I have worked on my credit over the past year and I have as follows:

cap 1  $360 limit $28 balance 1 year old

cap1 $300 limit $100 balance 9 months old

express $250 limit o balance 9 months old

all paid on time with 0 lates

36 yrs old 670-705 score with no baddies

i would like to go for a spree and I have a couple of cards in mind:

discover it

barclay reward card

amex green

usaa (full member and have ins. And checking account)

chase freedom

any suggestions or comments on how to proceed would be appreciated?

also I was preaproved for chase slate and freedom

barclay just told me that the rewards card was my recommended card

thank you in advance,

jeff

Re: A little advice for spree???

I definitely say Discover ItGreat to work with. But it also depends on your spending habits. I'm all grocery and gas so cash reward cards fit me best, but I don't travel. If you travel, it would be a different set of cards.

Re: A little advice for spree???

thanks for the reply,

rewards are nice and i just really wanna be rewarded for using a card with rewards no matter what they are. Also I probably won't  be getting huge limits at this point in my credit journey so it doesn't matter what the rewards might be just happy to get something. I figure a year from now I can focus better on cards that will fit my spending habits with better limits.

Re: A little advice for spree???

Go for what you want. I applied for AMEX with just my Discover reporting at $1,750 and they approved me for $6,000. I went from $1,750 to over $15,000 available credit in one week. The Freedom is also a great card, but a lot of the same to the It. AMEX is always to get in with. If you are worried about your scores, which are good, they are more lienient with charge cards. Also, getting in with USAA would be good too. They are more likely to approve since you already have a relationship with them.

Re: A little advice for spree???

You should request a CLI on your Cap 1 cards (its a SP)  before you do the spree. Having higher CL will make you look better to other creditors

Chase Freedom, Discover and AMEX BCE are the ones i like the most...

Good luck when you decide doing the App spree!!!!

I agree with mnavas. Plus, these apps would most likely spread it out across your reports. Hard pulls: discover-TU Chase-EQ and AMEX-EX. And all are great cards
