I bet if we took a survey, 95%+ of all rebuilders and anyone with a blemish used Cap1 as part of their comeback at some point.  I really can't hate them for that ... :-)  I just recognize their limitations and business model and treat their cards accordingly.

And as for lowly CM7, i can't be anything more than completely overjoyed and vindicated! with Capital One now. 

I kinda see this as a form of some redeeming value FINALLY.

I mean, after having had a GM Elite MC stuck at $600

Even the irony of it came back to haunt me after i seen someone pay a purchase with that same type GM card at a store i was in yesterday.

What do you mean they won't grow with you?  I've been having some decent luck with them recently.

Platinum prestige 750=>1k=>2.5k=>5K PC'd to QS WMC

QS at 4K recently approved and then called a month later, CLI to 5K

another QS at 5K approved within the same week (sent in 2 prequals and they both came back with 4k)  While asking for the CLI on the other QS, they changed this to 5K as well.  Asked to PC to Venture but they couldn't.  Instead, they moved to a Venture one with no AF and changed the rewards to be 2X instead of 1.25 for life of card.

Subsequently, applied for Venture just for the heck of it and approved for 5K instantly on Visa Sig.

Four C1 Cards made in to 20k within the past 3 months.  17.5 of the 20k was added in the past 3 months.  

Maintaining 0-10% balance on total CL.

This seems to be exactly the problem...for one person they grow perfectly for another they stay stuck in nowhere land. Obviously there is a reason but often the reason is not apparent or it makes no sense.

They definitely like something about your profile. But for most people they dont grow as well unless your heavily using their card from what ive read anyway
