A quick BT question?

I have three store cards with high balances; The Room Place [3,500 of 9,500 limit-20%APR], Pottery Barn [3,665 of 5,300 limit-17%APR] and Restoration Hardware [2,150 of 2,200 limit-21%APR], totaling about $9000.  When I redecorated a few rooms in my home last year, I purchased under the promotional no interest & no payments until.... plan.  I lost my job in January and have been rapidly paying down my cc balances but these three store card interest rates are going to seriously put me in the hole.  If I applied and got approved for a high limit cc to cover these balances, basically move the debt to lower the overall interest being, could I do a BT with a regular Visa or Mastercard to payoff store cards?  Thanks in advance for your responses?
