A zero balance is a beautiful thing!

Almost everything's zero now! Smiley Happy Aside from one of my husband's that'll report 8% util and one of mine that'll show 2% util. Really needing the extra boost, so hoping to see about 30pts from this..but seeing "New balance - $0" is GREAT!!!

Cannot wait to formally kill capital one, credit one, merrick and fingerhut. As soon as we close on our home, these are all meeting my little friend, the paper shredder!

Anyone think capital one may make HSBC suck as much as they do, or will they make HSBC better?

Congrats!

I think that 0% utilization hurts my score, so I try to report just a little balance on just one card.

Re: A zero balance is a beautiful thing!

Congrats! I got there a month ago for the first time in 8 months, but purchased a new computer two weeks later.  Paying it off in chunks, and should be back to $0 in 1 month and 2 days (not that I'm counting down or anything Smiley Wink).  $0 balance is a great feeling!  Congrats and enjoy being CC debt-free! Smiley Very Happy
