AAoA Question

Hey all.  So I am strongly considering applying for the Chase Ink within a couple weeks.  Currently, my AAoA on Equifax is 3 years.  I plan to purchase a home, but it won't be at least for another 2+ years.  Maybe I'm overthinking things, but I should be fine getting another card, right ???

In my wallet: Amex Platinum NPSL, Amex Everyday Preferred $15,000, Amex Starwood $10,000, Chase Freedom Visa Signature $10,000, Chase Sapphire Preferred Visa Signature $15,000, Chase Ink Plus Visa Signature $5000 Barclaycard Arrival Plus MasterCard World Elite $10,000, Cap One Quicksilver MasterCard $6000, Citi Prestige World Elite MasterCard $10,000, Citi Forward Visa $6900, Citi Premier World Elite MasterCard $5,800, Discover IT $8500

Re: AAoA Question

Ink is a business CC, all that should show on your pers reports is an inquiry if you personally guarantee it.

Re: AAoA Question

Well I don't have an established business, I was gonna use my social security number.

Re: AAoA Question

You list 8 cards in your signature, so adding another would mean your new AAoA will be 8/9 of what it was previously.

Also, Chase Ink is a business CC that doesn't report to personal, so the AAoA issue may be moot.

If you don't have a business, the likelihood of you getting a business cc is slim to none as most creditors will attempt to verify validity of a business.
