Has anyone done business with ABC Bank?
I can't find much on them.
I found an interesting read regarding their approval process.
I think it would apply to most institutions

ABC Bank doesn't exist, it's a fictitious name given for the purposes of that white paper.

I pass it on the way to work
That's true. There is an actual ABC Bank but it has no relation to the bank in this paper. It clearly states that the name is fictional and they just picked it to give their 'bank' a name. The paper is purely hypothetical and what they are suggesting isn't used at any actual bank

I thought that they ARE describing the existing process at a particular regional bank: "ABC Bank is a fictitious name used for anonymity purposes" amd anonymity isn't required if the bank doesn't actually exist. So I think this is a student case study where they did look at some real bank (and interviewed a Jeff Bush, a VP at a local regional bank, which may or may not be the same one)

don't argue with me or I'll whip you with a wet spaghetti noodle.
On 2nd reading, you could be right. Not definitely but possibly.

Don't think of it as arguing, just a gentle Socratic dialog to help you overcome (to the extent possible) your wilful misreading... And definitely, I contacted Sweta Sneha at Kennesae State University (http://www.ratemyprofessors.com/ShowRatings.jsp?tid=1196252) who ran the course and she confirmed. (Well, she would have if I had contacted her, but apparently she is always late so I didn't bother)
