Don't feel bad, I've been sitting here a month now with 11 more to go

Don't worrie, give it another try in a year. Last year I was shot down by all. I probably applied to citi like 10+ times the past 3 years, they're no longer on my list. Barclay didn't give me any love either

Sorry to hear that. The Garden is a good place to go after denials. It definitely helps you work on any issues on your CRs. Good luck!
I finally got a Barclay at a TU of 684. But, I was declined a couple years ago at a 660. This time they were the second app of my app spree and the first one to do a hardpull, so ALL my inq's were over a year old when I got them. Not sure how much inq's matter to them, but I remember being told a couple years ago that they were really inq sensitive.

I feel for you. Although I think that once you get your legit scores to 680 plus, you'll have a better chance.
Citi was funny with me. I had a line of credit and overdraft protection and they STILL turned me down for cards more than once. I was even approved for a $15K personal loan. A credit analyst told a banker friend of mine who went to bat for me that I "have enough credit." Of course that was before I was approved for about $25K in new trade lines with other banks.
Bottom line, overall I am happy with my Citi checking, savings, etc. but they can bite me with their credit cards!
Nothing to be ashamed about. It is all about the Big Picture. I was shot down by Barclay's last month after two recons and a extra Hard Pull. Their analysts were snarky about my thin file. It is OK. Turn the other cheek. Good Luck

verify your reports are correct, keep UTL down before AP'ing. They will eventually let you in the door.
Sorry this happened to you OP. Have you received the denial letters yet? If so, do you see any trend in the reasons why (i.e. High utlization). Identify what you need to correct through the denial letters, work on those issues and try again in 6-12 months. Your scores will only continue to improve with time...
