Ive never seen this before. I have about 20k AMEX Pts on my Zync and I got this offer from AMEX by email. Im waiting until I can convert my points to full MR points so will not take them up on offer but I found it interesting.
I have the same offer but didn't get a big banner like that. Unfortunately, I've only ever run enough transactions through my Zync to have a whopping 510 points. The minimum to redeem points for purchases is 1,000 points. Even with the 15% discount, I'm only getting somewhere in the neighborhood of 0.7% value in the points, so I'm basically better off just cutting my losses and not redeeming the 510 points I have for anything. Back to the sock drawer.

Good choice on waiting.
I got the same offer, not biting. Looking to use my points on a vacay.
Just checked my email, and my offer is for 25% bonus
15% Offer for me. I don't even know what I want to use my points on... Zync will be SD at the end of the month anyway, sadly. I guess if I use the offer I can pay for my car insurance for a month or two?
It's a rip off... They have been sending these offers out to a lot of AMEX card holders. Using point for charges is among the worst ways to redeem MR points. If you have that many MRE points, convert them to full MRE points by product switching into a green or gold. Then transfer the points to an airline partner or do something like use pay for points for travel. Even gift cards are a better use of the points.

I'm an account manager on a Business Rewards Gold and we got that same email for 35% bonus...
