AMEX 3x CLI question

Ok so today i requested the 3x CLI from 2k to 6k. i got a message that said i will get a letter in 7 - 10 days. The lady on the phone told me i will get an email and ill be able to check the status of my request. Is this normal? This is my first AMEX and first CLI attempt. Shed some light guys!

Did you wait 61 days? Seems like they may want something from you. It usually instant approval or counter/denied from what I read on here.
