Hey guys.
so the numbers are getting larger, I have a 30k credit limit with amex and am curious about the 3x cli soft pull thing
I was approved with 10k in march, did 3x soft pull cli to 30k exactly 61 days later, for proof of concep - no additional information requested of me - and now am curious about how far this goes. Anyone successfully done it this high?
I'm technically in the garden and am not tempted, but I will definitely be queuing up some gargantuan increases for next year.
thanks
I would think that you would have to have a ridicolous income for that. I remember reading somewhere that the max limit was 100k, here is where I saw the 100k on post 6 or 7, and that was during the golden age of CC when you could get 25k with a 620 ahhh the good ol days.
Since AMEX's CLI policy is so consumer friendly, don't think there is any harm in asking. I would make sure you can back up your stated income however as you will for sure be asked for tax transcript. Worse case they deny or approve for less. Either case, no harm to credit in either scenario.

I like that
Well I can show my multiple sources of income, the digital paystubs I get every week. But it won't be until next year where I can prove high annual income with tax returns
How do you know that it's over $35K total exposure that they want tax returns?
I am curious since I am at $10K on the BCE and $10K on the Hilton Honors and $2.5K with the Costco card. I was debating taking one of my $10K cards to $30K. That would mean my total exposure is $42.5K
those are some sweet limits
ah, there are a lot of threads on this forum thinking it is 25k but alright

yes, yes they are.
