AMEX 61 day DENIED

Ok so at 61 days I tried got 7-10 called in denied. Decided what the hell go for back door number got a rep said nope , transferred to amex executive offiCe still no. Ok so today being about 3 1/2 weeks since my denial I called to see if a purchase would go thru because I've reached my limit. Rep over the phone days yes you will be up to 1,000 over your limit. I said awesome since I had him on the line I explained and he said dec 3rd call in that would make it 90 days and you should be golden especially you paid in full. So now I'm confused. Is if 90 after trying on 90 days even after trying meaning 90 days for account. Because he's certain I will get an increase if I call back on December 3rd. Help me understand because I'm ready for this CLI!!!!

From what I have read 90 data after denial. When was the 61 days?

From what I've read for your first cli 61 days for up to 3x cli. If denied another 90 days after that.

+1, I've been reading those 'definite AMEX 3x CLI' thread & few others and that's the info I got.
