AMEX BCE 3X CLI APPROVED -- SPG DENIED - RECON?

So I got cocky.

Stepped out the garden because I got the 61 day CLI and got denied for the SPG.

Should I call and get a recon?

At least its only a soft pull for SPG if I get denied - right?

Yes it a sp.  What would be the reason for recon?  Is there an error on your crs?

I think it was high UTIL, but if they SP me in Feb and still gave me the CLI why would that matter??

It may not make much sense but giving you a new line of credit with high util probably may weigh heavier in their approval algorithims

Amex is known not to do recons unless there are errors on your CR.
