AMEX BCE...

So. I'm thinking I want my next card to be the BCE. BUT, one of my main goals is to get into the 5 digits. I wanted to use the 3x CLI to get AT LEAST to the 10k mark. In order for me to do that, I'd need to be approved for AT LEAST 3.5k.

Here is my current profile, and maybe you guys can give me feedback:

1st Financial Bank USA 07/08: $0/6400 (23% APR)

Wells Fargo Bank 08/08: $0/3600 (20.55% APR)

AMEX Green 06/12: NPSL

Citi Thank you Preferred 07/12: 4100/4200 (0% till March 14'. Then 15.99% APR)

Chase Sapphire Preferred 03/13': 0/5000 (15.24% APR)

Do you guys think i'd be approved for a MIN line of 3500?

Oh yea. Forgot to include those...lol.

Score, TU 704, EQ 674

Never been late, no baddies whatsoever...However, these are WITHOUT my CSP. Or my CLI. I have not received an updated fico score yet because I wanted to wait before my CSP reported. I will be doing that in the next few days or so since my statement cut off was just yesterday.

Re: AMEX BCE...

I got approved for a 4k credit line for a BCE about a month ago at 757 TU and 40k income.

Re: AMEX BCE...

No...not the exact question. With Citi, I was wondering about the CLI. But My main question now is if people have similar credit profiles as I do, and have gotten approved for the BCE of at least 3500. I have a good feeling I'd get approved for the BCE, but I want to get approved for AT LEAST 3500. If I got 2k and after the 61 days, got it up to 6k, that's not what I'm looking for. I wanna get to at least 10k lol. Maybe even 9 or 8k...but def shooting for the 5 digit mark. I don't have a revolving account with Amex, so I'm not sure how strict or lenient they are on CL's.

Re: AMEX BCE...

And what is the alternative?  Asking for CLI's on existing cards.

Even if the 61 day doesn't get you 10K, another after 6 more months should, so why not apply and see what you get?

Also, why is 10K so critical?  Is this for a definite need or for self-image!

Re: AMEX BCE...

I would be concerned about the maxed Citi card. Everything else looks good for the 3-4k CL.
