Re: AMEX BCP Approval?

You can always call and ask but you are correct that it will be a YMMV situation.....CSRs may not be able to predict.

Re: AMEX BCP Approval?

I say go for it. I'd peg the odds as 3:2 that you'll get the BCP with $2,000 initial CL. WCS is you get an inquiry, but if so then NBD.

Let us know what you do and good luck!

Re: AMEX BCP Approval?

I got BCE with w/ multiple settled accounts after they were CO'd.  I have history with AMEX back to 1995 so maybe that helps and I never burned them, just WF and BoFA.  BCP might be tougher.  FWIW I was triple pulled and TU sealed the approval at 680 so yea it's certainly possible with some scars.

Re: AMEX BCP Approval?

Thanks for the feedback and advice.  I think I'm going to bite the bullet and apply for a Gold card first, wait out the 6 months and app for the BCP, atleast it will be SP after the Gold card.  Here's hoping they take me back into the fold haha!
