Got ya.... I thought it might be newer.
My wife has one of those cards but we cannot change for 12 months... ![]()
I app'd for one but was declined. Then I ended up with the Costco Amex so I will stay out there for now.
The new card looks sweet. I will be curious to read how you like it!

DI, that is nice offer! Good for you ![]()
I would love to get one too ... but I haven't. Mine is just a plain Blue, not Blue Cash. I just called and spoke with their rep. I asked about SF or HP, she did not have no idea about it. But she said it shouldn't be no problem since I have this card from 12/2005. Also she mentioned to me that I will loose my current pts of 196 if I request PC now .. which is $196 spent since last redemption. The minimum redemption for a gift card is 1000 pts for $10 at Old Navy and etc. To earn 804 pts, it will takes FOR~EVER with few $/mo charge ... I could be gone by then or may not.
PC from Blue to Blue Cash Everyday ...
Pros:
I can use this Blue Cash Everyday card on 3% and 2% when my Discover More and Chase Freedom does not have 5% cashback.
I can earn more pts than plain Blue, because I will use it more.
Cons:
They no longer have the same gift cards as used to be. Not much choice.

I did the PC because there was no way for my to reach the $6500 spending amount before the rewards kicked in. The day after my PC updated on AMEX's website, I started using my card more to gain the points. When my statement generated, I did not earn the points expected.
Apparently, the points doesn't start until the new Everyday card is activated. I stopped using the AMEX card as of last week. On two occasions, I tried using my card, and the system didn't accept my zip code and the transaction wasn't allowed at checkout. I called AMEX about it to see what was up with that. AMEX checked its system and I checked my last statement. The zip code was matching. I haven't used the card to see if its working again.
So, last week, AMEX committed two double whammies against me. 1. No points 2. Declined at checkout due to a problem with my zipcode

Is that mean HP?
You did not confirm the information with Amex regarding the earning the pts?
What? Where did you try to use your Amex? I only can think of is at RedBox or gas pump that requires zip code.
