How long did you have the costco amex card for before you asked?

I've had Costco Amex for almost a year.  The automated system said you can ask for CLI every six months.

Does anyone have any insight as to whether it's a good/bad idea to ask for a $5K CLI if my current Blue Cash max is $20,000? Last $5K increase from $15K to $20K max was Mar 2009

Also, does anyone know if the automated CLI will work with a fraud alert on my credit report?

I didn't know the max limit for AMEX Blue Cash was 20K.  Are you sure about this??

I was referring to my personal CL which is $20K.
