AMEX Closing Date

 I have a new card with AMEX with a $0 balance.  Is it possible to get AMEX to change my due date July 6, with a closing date of July 10?  I have two cards with AMEX and want them both to have the  same closing date.

When I called AMEX to change the due date on 2 charge cards, Plat & Zync, it sounded like the CSR was looking at a table and both my cards could not be on the same date but are ~ 2 days apart.

I didn't ask to align the credit card with the charge cards.

Which 2 do you have green and . . . . .?

I have the Blue Cash Everyday and Blue Sky.  The Rep  I just spoke  with said if I change my  closing date it will be August 10th.  I do not want that to happen.   I was trying to speed up the date for my new account to report to the CRAs this week rather than after July 20th.
