AMEX E-mail Invitation - Platinum + 40K

Received an e-mail this evening inviting me to apply for their Platinum card. Anyway, includes points and misc. bonus/rebates, but I'm not interested. HOWEVER, what if anything at all, does this suggest concerning my relationship with AMEX?

Standard offer. I wouldn't take it.

I would and COULD sink my teeth into the 100K offer however!

I always get that 100k offer from their pre qualifier. I was doing it almost daily and always got the same offer. I just don't know if I would spend 3k in 3 months. Plus pay the $495 fee. Such a great deal though.

$450 but who is counting.

The type of customer they are going for can obviously meet that spend and much more

Oh yeah! Got confused with the visa black. I could definitely spend it, but would I need all the stuff I spend it on? Probably not. Lol!

Depends what your household costs are and how many of your payee's will take AMEX, let alone CC's.
