I applied for a gold card around December 7.
I finally received my letter with the evaluation:
Your FICO Score: 649 Ex
Number of Trades EX: Too few
Lack of bank information.
There are no credit card accounts on your credit report.
I called in using one of the backdoor numbers and was transfered to New Accounts Department.
The lady said I would need to call Experian and have them look into why my CR is not reflecting that i have open CL and a checking account.
Can anyone help with what I should do, because I pulled my report on myFICO and I see all my accounts listed.
Sorry for the denial. Checking accounts do not report to your CR's. Do you have any revolving cc's? How old are the baddies listed in your siggy?
...denied credit. Pull your free report. See the current status.

Definitely pull your exp cr- you are entitled to a free copy with the denial. If the cc's are on your cr you'll need to fax the report along with a letter to Amex for recon. Keep in mind, they may hp your cr again.

How do I go about getting my CR? I do have a recent CR from experiandirect.com and from myFico.com. Can I fax them that CR?
Would you happen to know the number to fax them the report for Recon.
The number is in the BDN sticky. You will need your reference number which will be on your denial letter. The report should come directly from http://www.annualcreditreport.com./ not through a CMS. Select Experian ( you are entitled to a free copy due to the denial) and then print a copy of your report.

I check the BDN sticky but it doesn't list a fax number. I have everything ready to go, just need the fax number.
Please provide me the link or PM me the number if it's not too much to ask.
Thanks in advance.
Update: I called in to get the fax number.
Sent my documents via an online fax service and while I was trying to pay with PayPal the bill me later pop-up came out.
Applied, because I'm impulsive like that and was approved for 1k.
Well the documents are in. Approved or not approved, I think it's time to hit the garden once the new 2k14 thread starts.
Thanks.
