It is a SP to apply. If declined, you will have only a SP, however if approved you will have a HP on your CRA.

Re: AMEX Green

The difference between Zync and Green is MR express points versus regular MR points.  Express points are worth less when you pay for travel with pay with points, you won't get a full penny per point value.  Also, express points can't transfer to partner loyalty programs.  This is where the real value of MR points lies.  You can really squeeze some good value out of transferring to frequent flier programs, because frequent flier miles are often worth 2-3 cents per mile or more, depending on the program.  Also, Amex frequently does bonuses, like right now you get 1.5 avios per 1 MR point instead of 1:1 when transferring to British Airways program.

Re: AMEX Green

Did you call the Executive Office. I asked them and they said 13 months. Many posts on here will reflect what I'm saying. Do a search. The regular Zync CSRs don't know. As I've said. I had one AMEX CSR argue with me and tell me that Zync was the hardest card to get. I reported her to the Executive Office. There is a post about that on here as well somewhere.

It seems lots of people have been hearing this, but I did PC from Gold to Zync to Gold at one point last year.  After I found out that express points were worth less when paying for travel with pay with points, I switched back to the Gold card.  I don't know if it was because the account started as a Gold, but I had no problem at all going from Zync to Gold.  I did only have Zync for about a week.

Re: AMEX Green

The Zync is able to PC. I'm 100% sure of it. After 13 months though.
