Okay so it occured to me while I was in a slump trying to figure out how I was going to recon this AMEX letter and I saw it was the BIZ skymiles I apped for so I went back and did the regular skymiles and got approved for 1000.00 I dont care how little it was I just wanted to have an AMEX in my profile! oh my goodness Im so happy!

I heard you have to be really carefull with this one. I better ask now.

Can I get a CLI act activation... my highest Cl is 1500 and lowest is my Pond sum ORCH Card

When do I ask for them after that.

Does it like money to flow through it ALOT or are small purchases okay? I use my CAP 1 the most now... just learned the PIF game.

Does it like 9% balance carried or should I PIF to Zero every month...

this morning it was EX but I didnt re pull my reports I will in antoher few days to see if I have a point drop for the new act and let ya know.

It's at least 60 days for a CLI with Amex, but most tend to wait about 6 months.

Being the impatient person I am, I tried at 60 days and was shot down.

I treat all my Amex cards like PIF'ers.

Here we go again...

Good card. Skymiles was my first amex card 10 months ago with a $2700 CL. Switched to Blue Cash 3 months later and have $20k CL on it since 4 months ago. Also app'd and got Platinum Charge 45 days ago.

Just remember to PIF each month regardless of the product type with amex.
