Okay so I've found alot of information on how backdating works but didn't find this:
My member since date on my newly received AMEX Gold Delta card is in fact 2013 though my AMEX Gold Delta AU record in the CR says 2003. I am expecting that the updated CR will also reference the new AMEX cards (my own Gold Delta and the BCE) as 2003 but my question: Is there any reason I would want the MSD to also reflect 2003 on my actual card?????
I am thinking the backdating is important for the AAoA and that changing the MSD on the card is a personal preference. Am I right?
