AMEX Member Since 2014?

I applied for the AMEX BCE card on Dec. 25th and was instantly approved. I recieved it in the mail today and it says on the card "Member Since: 14". Since I was approved in 2013 and I activated it in 2013 (today), it seems like I should be a member since 2013. Anyone have any ideas about this?

It could be because your first statement, therefore the first reporting, will be in 2014.

The MSD would have nothing to do with statement reporting. I would guess, they are printing cards for 2014 and it's an error

That does sound curious. I'd suggest calling and asking about it.

I app mine on the 9th and the statement didn't come yet and it said 13
